Pip Value Calculator
See what one pip is worth in dollars for your position size, so you know what each move of the price means for your account.
How it works
A pip is 0.0001 for most currency pairs and 0.01 for yen pairs. When the US dollar is the second currency in the pair (EUR/USD, GBP/USD), one pip on one standard lot of 100,000 units is always worth 10 USD. When the dollar comes first (USD/JPY, USD/CAD), the value is 100,000 × pip ÷ current price, so it changes with the rate.
Brokers define pips on gold and silver differently, so for metals the calculator shows the value of a 1 USD move: 100 USD per lot of gold and 5,000 USD per lot of silver.
